NZ Earthquakes |
NY Fashion Week |
Fashion Week, a popular event that is closely payed attention to by many, though is this outnumbering the amount of people paying attention to huge natural disasters such as the New Zealand earthquake?
Imagine, you are living in New Zealand. A huge Earthquake hits and buildings are falling all around you, sky scrapers reduced to rubble. People are inside these buildings, some of them killed instantly, others trapped for days. You may survive, but your home is demolished and you have no-where to go. The next thing you hear is that instead of getting some help or aid, people are staring at their TV screens, watching 7 people doing one person's hair! You would feel pretty alone, afraid and disgusted.
Now step back into reality. This is actually happening! Even as the earthquakes of New Zealand struck, shows such as these continue to run, seemingly oblivious to the fact that others are in greater need than 7 hair stylists. Instead they should be using their money with more respect to other people who are in need.
'NY Fashion Week' should really be more considerate to other people and their situations.
